Music For Hypnagogia

by Empath

about

What happens when one´s mind wanderers in between waking life and dream state? Hypnagogia is a phase leading into dream state, when people can see visions and achieve quite creative ideas.

In between dream and wake, people are traveling in the borders of consciousness. Reality is still experienced, but the logics of real life are not there anymore. People can see shadows and colors around them, or hear voices or get surprising ideas.

It it said that hypnagogia is shortest road to your own subconscious and intuition. We can be very creative on hypnagogic states, because rational mind isn´t there anymore.

Empath is exploring those hidden states of subconsciousness with six sound collages in his album Music For Hypnagogia. Ideas and visions for this music has been born from his own hypnagogic experiences and they could be fascinating path to lead (greek: Agogo) listeneres into dreams (greek: Hypnos).
